Chi irons are one of the best on the market, and yes they work incredibly well! They will not fry your hair as long as you know how to properly use one, i.e. don't use it on wet hair, don't let it sit in one spot too long. always use a light heat protectent before use. There are 2 different Chi's out last time I checked. THe original Chi which is all black, and the Chi Turbo which is black and red. The barrel around the ceramic plates has red velvet like material. The only difference between the 2 are the original heats to a hotter temp. (400) while the turbo is a little less. That and the red velvet stuff. They run around $100, but there are other brands out there. Just make sure that the plates are ceramic all the way through and not just ceramic plated. That and depending on the texture of your hair, you may need a flat iron that heats up to 400 or you may only need 200 degrees. So try to find one that has a temp. control knob. Just check out sally's beauty supply if you can't afford a really good professional brand.Do Chi flat irons work as good as everyone says they do?
My sisters and I all love the Chi flat irons. They work great! My younger sister did find some off brands on ebay for around 20. I think the normal cost is around 100
O, they work wonderfully. I bet you could check out their website for some prices.
Yep, they're pretty fantastic. I think they would fry your hair if you kept your hair in it for too long, but normally no. But they make your hair super-straight and shiny. They cost about $100+.
Not all, it works well for some and for other's it ends up breaking.
you bet. my friend has one, and man, my hair was looking perfect!
