Why does everyone keep saying that Chi flat irons are the best?

They don't even have the new tourmaline technology. What makes them the best? Why does everyone keep saying that Chi flat irons are the best?
Everyone keeps saying that? I have never heard it even once. Why does everyone keep saying that Chi flat irons are the best?
They're expensive. But they work well, they're ceramic, which is better than anything else (plastic, etc.)
Don't know about the Chi flat iron, but my daughter bought one that's got the stone ';jade'; where the normal metal/ceramic plates are (she bought it at TJ Maxx) and she says its the best one she's ever used (and believe me, she's tried just about all of them!!) She has naturally curly, long and thick hair - she looks like she has a spiral perm, that's how curly it is - and she says that this new ';jade'; one has cut her straightening time in half and her hair looks so shiny and healthy. (She does use the Chi styling products though, as do I. I love how they smell, but more importantly they work great!!)
They are alot but they keep the moisture in, and they work wonders on mixed or black girls hair.
Chi is one of the fewer ones that is ceramic through out, not just plated. But you are right, tourmaline is the future, I look for Chi to make one soon. Make sure it is tourmaline through out, not just plated as well.
thats what i'm wondering too...i think they suck!! u can't even adjust the temperature on them....i love solia!!
STYLIST RECOMMEND THEM BUT THE BETTER ONES ARE PAUL MITCHELLS
because they are the best!

Just because they don't have the newest technology doesn't make them any less.

I have really thick waist-length hair and i've found that Chi straighteners work the best. They don't kill your hair and they make it smooth and shiny.

you just have to find what works for you.
