Can you set dif. temps for chi flat irons?

i am getting a chi flat iron soon and i am afraid it might get to hot for my hair. can you change the Temperature?Can you set dif. temps for chi flat irons?
With the CHI no, but with a FHI, Sedu, Solia, Maxiglide, and Ion yes.
