How can I tell if my CHI flat iron is fake?

I recently ordered the classic black CHI from a website called www.basic-stylers.com for 59$. I think I've been ripped off though because it was so cheap. It looks like a regular CHI with the CHI logo in the circle on both sides, but it doesn't have the global beauty Logo on the top, how can I tell if I've been ripped off?
