It seems vague: some yahoo answers describe Trade Secret registering lifetime warranty with the manufacturer.... but the Farouk website only advertises a 1-year warranty.

I got a CHI and got the lifetime warranty and a few weeks after i got it, it broke. I sent it in and never got it back... that was almost a year ago.
